Sometimes your clothes feel “too much” for the people around you or the places you go. Maybe your favorite bold dress feels louder than your friends’ styles, or your creative choices don’t match your school dress code. That doesn’t mean you need to shrink it just means your style is growing faster than your environment.
Outgrowing your surroundings is a sign of evolution. Clothes that feel “different” might reflect your personality, confidence, or new interests. Eventually, you’ll find spaces and people that appreciate your style. Until then, it’s okay to stand out a little, to be brave, and to let your wardrobe reflect the person you’re becoming. Fashion can be a way to show growth even when the world isn’t fully ready for it.
